Theoretical Analysis of Non-equilibrium Grain Boundaries Diffusion Properties Recovery during Ultra-fine Grain Metals and Alloys Annealing

European Researcher, 2013, Vol.(56), № 8-1, р. 1990-2002

Abstract:
The article presents the results of theoretical analysis of non-equilibrium grain boundaries diffusion properties recovery during ultra-fine grain (UFG) materials annealing, produced by severe plastic deformation (SPD) method. The paper proves that activation energy and grain boundary diffusion coefficient of UFG materials depend on density of defects, cumulated by grain boundary during SPD. Annealing causes diffusion redistribution of defects in grain boundaries, which results in diffusion properties change. Diffusion properties recovery rate depends on grain size and it is much higher in UFG materials than in coarse-grained materials.

Abstract:
This work deals with the study of influence of terms and storage conditions on Saponaria officinalis seed quality, stored in different containers (paper, plastic, fabric and glass), in the different temperature conditions, under light or darkness. The morphology, biology of Saponaria officinalis seeds was described. Basing in the obtained results, we recommend to store Saponaria officinalis seeds within 3 months in paper container at the temperature of - 18˚С.

Adaptation of Regulatory Systems in Schoolchildren, Residing in Industrial Area

European Researcher, 2013, Vol.(56), № 8-1, р. 2012-2016.

Abstract:
The article presents the results of the study of heart rate variability (HRT) in apparently healthy volunteers of both sexes without bad habits, aged 16-18, residing in industrial region (Temirtau) and the ones, studying under innovative technologies. HRT was registered with the help of computer-controlled devices “Varikard” (Russia). The changes of HRT spectral indexes towards integral impact of vegetative regulation mechanisms and parasympathetic activity decrease and regulatory systems overexertion, demanding correction methods implementation.

Assessment of Respiratory Function in Students, Residing in Different Industrial Areas

European Researcher, 2013, Vol.(56), № 8-1, р. 2017-2022.

Abstract:
The article considers the results of the examination of three groups of apparently healthy volunteer students of one social group, both men and women, without bad habits, aged 19-22. Students live in three different industrial areas of Central Khazakhstan, containing ironworks (Temirtau) and non-ferrous smelters (Balkhash, Zhezkazgan). It determined the necessity of respiratory function examination, using automated lung tester. The examination of respiratory function determined the decrease of the following parameters: lung vital capacity, maximal expiratory flow volume, forced expiratory volume 1, peak expiratory flow rate, cardiac minute output 25-50 if compared to proper parameters. The examination enabled us to make the conclusion that respiratory function is restricted due to high respiratory load, caused by air pollution. Changes intensity is different and can indicate the pollution in the examined areas.

Mental Fatigue Evaluation

European Researcher, 2013, Vol.(56), № 8-1, р. 2023-2030.

Abstract:
The article offers the method for evaluation of mental fatigue, based on the method of paired light pulses. Ten pre-trained test men with normal vision, aged 18–20 participated in the experiment. Testees were showed subsequent paired light pulses at a 200 ms interval, divided by initial interpulse interval of 70 ms, recurring at the fixed time interval of 1 s. Testees determined the threshold interpulse interval, at which the two pulses in a pair merged into one, three times, using the method of successive approximation. Then testees solved algebraic equations with several unknowns for two hours. The threshold interpulse interval was determined three times every 20 minutes in the course of equations solving. The degree of mental fatigue DMF was calculated, using the formula: DMFi = (TPIi – TPI0) 100% / TPIi; i = 1, 2, … , n, where DMFi is the degree of mental fatigue at the i-th measurement; TPIi is average arithmetic duration of threshold interpulse interval at the i-th measurement; TPI0 is average arithmetic duration of threshold interpulse interval before algebraic equations solving; n is the dimension of threshold interpulse interval measurement in the course of algebraic equations solving. After 20 minutes of work, the degree of mental fatigue of one of the testees was 9.5 %, rose to 21 % by the end of the first hour and exceeded 39 % by the end of the second hour. Similar dynamics of mental fatigue was observed in all testees, but its development and the degree of fatigue are individual. To prevent fatigue and ensure high level of efficiency one should set the individual schedule and rest pauses duration during mental activity.

European Researcher, 2013, Vol.(56), № 8-1, р. 2039-2043.

Abstract:
The article deals with the mathematical modeling of biological diagnosis of complex heterogeneous structure (skin), using non-destructive control method. The mathematical model, describing interaction of the material with electrodynamic vibration generator and sensor system, controlling the propagation of small disturbances was developed. The influence of material model parameters on the spectrum in the course of the propagation of the surface disturbance.

Mathematical Model of Suspension Filtering and Its Analytical Solution

European Researcher, 2013, Vol.(56), № 8-1, р. 2057-2065.

Abstract:
The work develops mathematical model and computing algorithm to analyze, project and identify the basic parameters of filter units operation and their variation range. On their basis, numerical analytic solution of the problem of ionized liquid solutions filtering was obtained. Computing experiments, resulting in graphic format were presented. Analysis of calculation results enables to determine the optimum modes of filter units operation, used in liquid ionized solutions filtration technology, in food preparation, in drug production and for drinking water purification. Selection of the most suitable parameters contributes to the improvement of economic and technologic efficiency of production and filter units operability.

ASEM as the Instrument for ASEAN and EU Interaction: Issue Historiography

European Researcher, 2013, Vol.(56), № 8-1, р. 2071-2078.

Abstract:
The article attempts to analyze historiography and sources of ASEAN and EU interaction, characterizes the features of interaction of the mentioned integration groups. Relations with EU have special place in ASEAN international contacts, basing both on the fact that EU is one of the key economic partners of the Association and the specific character of interaction between the leading regional integration alliances. The analysis of the documents enabled to estimate the major directions of today’s cooperation between the leading integration alliances more precisely and determine the possible prospects.
